The platform needed to serve two distinct user groups, customers seeking licensed music and creators offering their work, each with different goals and browsing behaviors. The homepage was designed to guide both audiences to their dedicated sections. Every page followed a no-dead-ends principle, enabling effortless cross-navigation and ensuring users could always move forward toward their goals without friction.

All roads lead to the Catalog

The main business objective was to encourage users to create an account, both for lead generation and to familiarize them with the music catalog, ultimately driving order placements. Access to the full catalog was limited to logged-in users, while visitors could explore public playlists showcasing sample tracks across various genres. This structure guided users naturally toward the Catalog, motivating them to sign in and unlock the platform’s complete functionality.

User flows covered onboarding, adding tracks to the cart, placing orders, and managing account settings, including edits and deletions. Each process was designed for maximum clarity and efficiency, with clear feedback at every step. The website was integrated with Mailchimp to automate user communication across all stages of the customer journey.

Deeper integration with AWS Cloud allowed batch upload of large packages of music files with tags attached. The entire process simplified the Admin task, taking batch file conversion for the web playback format in minutes, instead of hours.

To foster user loyalty, a favorites feature was introduced, allowing users to save and organize preferred tracks. This made it easy to revisit and edit playlists when placing future orders.

Browsing through 1000 songs without a hassle

The extensive catalog required robust tools to help users find the right tracks quickly. A powerful search engine with dynamic, tag-based suggestions and a multi-level filtering system enabled precise results. All features were fully optimized for mobile use, allowing users to log in, browse, listen, and place orders seamlessly from any device.
